Spending App

UI/UX | Visual Design

With all the advanced, and visually stunning finance apps available, why do I use the ExpenseTracking, Spending App? The reason is because it's simple. I have used the Spending App for about 4 years now. Before, it was just to keep track of my spending every week, but now I use it for all my bank accounts and have all my expenses categorized in the app. Why? Because it's simple! It has 2 buttons, simple categories, and I'm done. No need to over complicate tracking my expenses with other (but awesome) finance apps packed with various features. I just need a simple app with one easy tool. However, Spending App needed a serious facelift. Here's my redesign of the app!

Bills Section

Some of my pain points for this app is that it didn't remind me of my re-occuring bills. That is why I merged the search and history section and added a new feature called "Bills". This allows you to enter re-occuring bills and set up reminders. You can either payand it will automatically deduct the total or skip by choosing to pay later.
